Trent Lillehaugen's Software (tl.software)

I graduated from California Polytechnic State University in 2000 with a B.S. in Computer Engineering. As part of the B.S. program at Cal Poly all seniors must complete a senior project. For my senior project I create PalmScope. PalmScope is both a peripheral and software for the Palm V handheld that converts the PDA into a portable oscilloscope. For detailed information please download the final report. Here are some screen shots:

I also modified a Palm V cradle to house all the electronics. There is a PIC in the cradle that collects the analog data and communicates with the Palm V over the serial port. Notice the BNC connecter where the sync button used to be.

Hello !

I found very interesting your project and, as I would like to do something to use my older PalmV, a basic scope seems perfect.

Is it possible to get somewhere the schematics and .prc ?

Of course, this is not for professional / commercial use, just the pleasure to hack my PalmV.

I thank you in advance !

Kind regards,
